The collision occurred around 12:19 p.m. Tuesday on High Ridge Rd (Route 137) at Oaklawn Avenue, said Stamford Police Sgt. Andrew Gallagher.
The crash took place when a 2018 Kia Stinger sedan was traveling southbound on High Ridge Road turning left onto Oaklawn Avenue and a 1995 Honda motorcycle was traveling northbound in the right lane of High Ridge when the two vehicles collided, Gallagher said.
The motorcycle operator was transported by Stamford EMS ambulance to Stamford Hospital where he was admitted with life-threatening injuries. The Kia driver, a 58-year-old Stamford resident, was not injured in the collision, he added.

It was the second crash in as many days in which a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a Stamford crash.
